Who is Don Sawyer?

Don Sawyer - Founder & CIO

Don Sawyer is the Founder and Chief Investment Officer of Sawyer Capital Investment Advisors.

Before founding Sawyer Capital, Don was responsible for managing, trading, and allocating Mountain Capital Investment Advisors’ portfolios in excess of $200 million in client assets, as well as serving as an integral member of the Investment Committee. Prior to joining MCIA, Don spent over 14 years with Morgan Stanley as Portfolio Manager and Financial Advisor in the Downtown Denver office.

Don received his BS from James Madison University and he resides in Denver with his four boys. Don and the boys can be found most weekends on Vail Mountain.
